Jerusalem's Lot, Maine
- Town in Cumberland County, Maine.
- Serves as a nexus for paranormal, supernatural, and metaphysical events.
- Town incorporated 1765 before U.S. existed and Maine became a state.
- Name comes from myth about one of earliest residents, Charles Belknap Tanner who raised pigs, one named Jerusalem. One day, Jerusalem escaped from her confines into nearby forest, later becoming aggressive and wild. Tanner later warned children who trespassed, "Keep 'ee out o' Jerusalem's wood lot", lest the pig devour them. 'Jerusalem's Lot' was later adopted as the town name.
- Sometime between 1765-1850, the lot was abandoned, deserted.
- Left behind was evidence of a cult of witches and worm cult.
