TV Series Billboard Posters
What Size is a 48 Sheet Poster? The simple answer is 48 sheets, with each sheet measuring 20 inches x 30 inches. Combined together these 48 sheets will measure 240 inches x 120 inches, or 6100mm x 3050mm in metric. The 48 Sheet Poster is also called 'Billboard Size'.
For this project I wanted to make multiple billboard size posters that promote different television series'. For each poster I want to focus on expressing the dynamic between the main characters in order to convey the tone of the show as well as making them look cohesive. The shows I have chosen are heavily character driven as I wanted to focus on illustrating portraits.
Our Flag Means Death
A period comedy following the life of pirates.
The characters I chose to depict are Stede Bonnet and Edward Teach a.k.a Blackbeard.

Severance
A science-fiction psychological thriller where memories can be surgically divided between work and personal life.
The characters I chose to depict are Mark Scout and Milchick. In the series, his memories are split between what they refer to as their 'Innie' and 'Outie'. Because of this, I decided to depict both versions of the man on my poster to show the duality of how their lives are portrayed in the show.

The Patient
A psychological thriller about a therapist who is held prisoner by a patient who is a serial killer.
The characters I chose to depict are Alan Strauss and Sam Fortner. The former being the therapist and the latter being the patient. I wanted to to show Sam as crowding Alan into the corner of the illustration to create a claustrophobic feel.
