A: The hardest of course is the world map.

I used the 3D modelling program SketchUp ​to create a rough layout of the stairs entering the basement.

At the bottom of the stairs is a trap set by the vampires to kill unsuspecting victims. The stairs were sawn off and knives were stuck through wooden pallets then placed below.

Marsten House

For the vampire's lair that overlooks the city, I wanted to focus on the atmosphere of the illustration and create a unsettling, nightmarish feel.
